The House is located in the eastern section of San José and is for a young couple. The context is defined by a row of 9 cypresses –in the front– and 2 trees –inside the terrain–. The terrain –of 721 m2– presents a strong slide towards a river. The topography has two parallel terraces. The house is situated in the middle of this terraces and three meters below the street. This generates a little cut of two meters in the terrain and dilutes the presence of the house towards the street.
The access is made with a bridge that starts “anchored” the last cypress and escapes towards the trees in the middle of the terrain. This bride is linked to a terrace, accessible when traversing the volume of moving glass, which defines the access towards the house in transversal way. |
