temporary space MADC
san josé, 2004

Under the perspective of growth and education of MADC towards national and international context, a system of art containers was proposed “ad honorem”. Temporary spaces fragmented in three stages are the result. At first are the containers themselves, which can be sent to different places, inside as well as outside the country. The second level are the openings of the façade, which are composed in a rhythm that allows multiple choices for container’s arrangement. The last fragment are the stands. These elements are useful for material transportation to the exhibition site, as well as the possibility of organizing the entry to containers.
Low cost mobility and fragmentation results of the practical and concrete proposal, to add up to culturalization and exposure of the effort and quality of one of the main museums of its kind in the area.
